Rile Seven - International Adventure Travel

Day 2 Mexico City
Arrive in Mexico City at any time. Explore the world's largest metropolitan area or take an optional day trip to the famous archaeological site of Teotihuacán.

Day 3-4 Puerto Escondido
Take a flight over the mountains of the Sierra Madre del Sur to the Pacific coastal town of Puerto Escondido, famed for its waves that attract surfers from around the world. Visit the many nearby beaches for surfing, swimming, fishing, or perhaps explore a nearby lagoon to observe marine birds and other wildlife in the mangroves.

Day 5-6 Mazunte
Travel the short distance to Mazunte, another beautiful beach town on the Pacific, this one a bit quieter than Puerto Escondido. In the past, the town made its living harvesting sea turtles and their eggs, but in light of the turtles endangered status, they have changed their focus into more ecologically-friendly projects. Set on a bay, this town is perfect for swimming and relaxation.

Day 7-10 Oaxaca
Travel on one of Mexico's comfortable buses to the colonial city of Oaxaca, a colourful city with lively markets and great food! Oaxaca has an incredible history and will be our focal point in learning about the cultures and traditions of the local people, especially the significance of the Day of the Dead celebration which we will see here in a few days time.

Day 11 Mexico City
Return by bus to Mexico's capital city for one final night on the town.

Day 12 Mexico City
Depart at any time.
